Coach Mathis is beginning her 7th year as Clinton High School's head volleyball coach. Coach Mathis is a native of St. Joseph, Illinois. She attended Millikin University, was a captain for the Big Blue volleyball team, graduating in 2006. Coach Mathis teaches at Lincoln Elementary School. Coach Mathis recently completed her master's degree from Illinois State in special education. Tracey, husband Jeff, and their new baby daughter, Blair, currently reside in Clinton.

Coach Hickman is in her 4th year coaching alongside Coach Mathis. Denise and husband John (CCHS teacher and baseball coach) have three children, Morgan, CCHS senior, Mally, CCHS junior, and Mac, a CJHS 7th grader. A veteran volleyball coach at Clinton Junior High, Coach Hickman is also on staff as CCHS health and physical education teacher. There is very little down time for Coach Hickman. Between she and her husband's coaching, and their children's sports activities, Denise can usually be found on the court or near a ball field!
